The first Ebola patient in the US, Liberian, Thomas Eric Duncan, is now said to have deteriorated from being in serious condition to being in critical condition.
Mr. Duncan became the United States’ first case of the disease when he tested positive on September 30 after arriving inDallas, Texas from his disease-ravaged country on September 20.
The Liberian is currently being quarantined at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital after being initially sent home with antibiotics.
Officials are currently tracking down all possible contacts of Mr. Duncan and his family members are being monitored for symptoms of the disease.
